Qur’anic Studies
- Memorize and understand the main theme of the following surahs: Al-Tariq, Al-A’laa, Ash-Shams, Al-Layl, Alfajr, Al- Alaq, Al-Ghashiah, Al-Balad, Ad-Duha.

- Implementation of Tajweed rules for all memorized surahs
- Theoretical study and practice of the following Tajweed rules: points of articulation, the rule of nun and meem with shaddah, one of the maad rules (letter elongation) and one of the sifat (letter attributes)
Islamic Studies
- Students are exposed to the curriculum concepts in an engaging manner enabling them to love their faith. Concepts are explained in relation to students’ daily lives allowing them to view Islam as a practical way of living and that is consolidated through the explanation of verses from the Qur’an and hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Fiqh and Ibadat (Jurisprudence and Acts of worship)
- Begin to prepare for praying with adults; learn to follow the proper movements during Salah, the etiquettes of Salah and practice praying at school on daily basis
- Learn how to make wudu and practice at school on daily basis
- Learn the five main pillars of Islam through understanding and memorizing a hadeeth shareef
- Fasting as one of the main pillars of Islam with focus on the special month of Ramadan
- Know that people travel to Makkah for Haj, get exposed to the main acts of Haj and the story of Prophet Ismail
Aqidah (creed)
- Develop the concept of the Oneness of Allah (SWT)
- Allah the Creator
- Learn that Allah has sent us His teachings through some of His prophets
